Education
Each of our initiatives is centered around educating policymakers and supporters alike.
We develop and disseminate fact sheets and share reports and key news stories. Additionally, we convene and participate in panel discussions, fostering dialogue and a deeper understanding of our issues.
Using traditional and social media outlets, we author op-ed articles and promote news stories. Most importantly, we educate policymakers by meeting with them directly and by providing legislative testimony, as needed.
Adaptability
The world is increasingly unpredictable. Five-year plans are now a thing of the past. At Civica Initiatives, we embrace resiliency through adaptability.
Our initiatives begin with clear goals, strategic objectives, and the advocacy tactics appropriate to meet those goals. We conduct frequent adaptive action review sessions, invite different viewpoints, and seek transformative growth through feedback loops with key stakeholders.
Our growth and impact strategies are informed by the Human Systems Dynamic Institute. Civica Initiatives uses the Institute’s tools and strategies to help us recognize and shift patterns of group behavior.
